Workshop „Applied Stata Course- Deaton’s Model of Price Elasticity Estimation using Household Budget Survey Data“ was held at the Institute of Economic Sciences in Belgrade, Serbia during 27 th and 28 th of June 2018. This Workshop is realized in cooperation with University Illinois in Chicago within research activities on international scientific project „Accelerating Progress on Effective Tobacco Tax Policies in Low and MIddle Income Countries“. Proffesor Rijo John, Research Fellow at Centre for Public Policy Research, India and Marko Vladisavljevic, Junior Researcher at Institute of Economic Sciences were lecturers during course.
Participants in Workshop were national project teams representatives who are members of consortium for Western Balkan Countries in this international scientific project. Institute of Economic Sciences is a main coordinator of all project activities among consortium. Main purpose of workshop „Applied Stata“ was to improve knowledge about using Stata software in applied microeconomic research. Also, main focus of Workshop was to introduce Deaton’s Model of Price Elasticity Estimation using Household Budget Survey Data.
