This study presents results from the Survey on Tobacco Consumption in Southeastern European countries (STC-SEE). The survey was conducted in six SEE countries between September and October of 2019 on individuals aged between 18 and 85 as a part of the project “Accelerating Progress on Effective Tobacco Tax Policies in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” funded by the University of Illinois at Chicago’s (UIC) Institute for Health Research and Policy.
The research was conducted with the aim of collecting data on the use of tobacco products. It is similar as GATS and provide the data about smoking prevalence by different socioeconomic groups.
