We have officially launched our new research and policy report regarding impact of excise taxes on consumption of tobacco products in Southeastern Europe region. Research concludes that raising taxes on tobacco products across different countries in the region would:
-Reduce cigarette consumption
-Raise government revenue
-Benefit low-income households
Raising taxes on tobacco products is part effective tobacco control policy.
